REGISTRATION
>> I registered for a competition. How do I know whether my registration was successful?
At an online registration you will receive a confirmation via E-Mail from our timing partner. This confirmation is sufficient to get a start number. Just print it out and bring it to the place where you get your start number.
At a registration via post you will get the confirmation via post as soon as the money for the entry fee is booked at the account of the organizer. This confirmation is to be presented at the place where you get the start number.
>> Can I see the starters list somewhere?

>> I would like to change the data of my registration. How can I do that?

>> I am not listed in the starters list yet. Why?
The entry fee was not booked at the organizer’s account yet. In order to be on the safe side, please check the starters list again in a couple of days /or transfer the money for the entry fee.
>> How much time do I still have to register?
The end for registering for the ultra run is at the 17. September 2010.
Late registrations for the ultra run single participants, ultra „light“ single participants and ultra run 2-relay can be fulfilled the day before the event (Friday, 24. September 2010) between 12 pm-6 pm at the area of the event TRAIL-City-Klagenfurt.
Additionally participants of the marathon walk can register on Saturday, 25. September 2010 from 8 am– 10 am in Kurpark Velden.
The family walk passes will be sold at the above mentioned times and at the day of the event (Sunday, 26. September 2010) from 8 am – 9:30 am at the peninsula Maria Wörth.
>> I am ill, hurt, or cannot participate due to personal reasons and need to reject my registration. Do I get the entry fee paid back?
If a participant cannot participate, there is no right for reimbursement of the entry fee. There is a possibility of giving the start number to someone else by swapping or transferring.
TRANSPORT OF CLOTHES AND ATHLETES
>> How do I get to the start in the easiest way at the day of the event? Is there a shuttle service?
The transfer at the day of the event takes place with the Wörthersee cruise (Wörthersee Schifffahrt). The participants of the 2-teams and the walker/ Nordic walker will be brought with their start number to/from Velden by the Wörthersee cruise for free.

>> Where do I find parking at the day of the event?
You will find parking possibilities at the Strandbad (lido) Klagenfurt, as well as at Minimundus parking and in the parking area near the university.
>> Is there a possibility of transporting/depositing clothes?
Yes, in the starting area Klagenfurt and Velden there are possibilities to deposit the clothes.

TIMING
>> How does the timing work? Where do I get a chip?
The timing works through a one-way transponder where the start number is integrated. The information on the back of the start number will be read without physical contact by the antenna via radio signal. The advantage of it is the high level of identification, because the start-, interval- and finish time of the runners will definitely be captured in the key moment. After reaching the finish line, time and place are available immediately.
The timing works through two measuring points, at the start/finish at the Strandbad (lido) in Klagenfurt and in Velden (starting point for walker/ Nordic walker).

>> Is there a photo service?
At the day of the event a photo-team will be found around the starting places, on the route and at the finish, assigned by the event organizers.

ROUTE
>>> How are the overall route characteristics really and also especially in the downhill area (forest trail, steep road, asphalt)?
There is everything what one would desire for a run at the landscape. We start on asphalt, and then continue on forest soil with roots, partly very narrow. But there are forest roads and gravel paths. In the area of Klagenfurt/Hallegg/Velden and Reifnitz, one is often on paved roads. We would like to already point out now that it could be very humid in the woods especially in autumn in the morning. Of course one should be cautious at descending routes. No matter what subsoil/grounds. But we will inform all runners before the run additionally about that (preliminary talk on Friday evening).

>> Where do I find a room?

The staff of the appropriate tourism agencies in the location of your preference can of course assist you finding a suitable accommodation.
SUPPLY/REFRESHMENT STATIONS & MISCELLANEOUS
>> How many supply stations are there?
There is a total of 10 supply stations alongside the route and the supply station at the finish.

Alongside the route and at the finish there are mobile paramedics of the Red Cross.
>> When does the award ceremony take place?
The award ceremony takes place at the event area on Saturday, 25. September 2010 from 5 pm.

>> Where can I shower after the competition?
With the start number you have access to the Strandbad (lido) Klagenfurt. There you can use the showers. There is a limited amount of hot water available.
